Hit the ground running in Jerusalem today. I hardly slept on the 11 hour flight, but wanted to make the most of it so I dropped off my bag and went straight to the Old City where I just wandered around and befriended some kids in the Muslim Quarter. One of them shot me with a water gun and I think they were surprised when I laughed and squirted them back with my water bottle. So the took me to where they play soccer on a dirt patch up by the ramparts on the NE side of the Old City. With I had shot some video, but they were too sweet.
Then I dragged my exhausted self to the German Colony to have dinner with some cousins I only know via the web. It was awesome. I need to spend more time with my family.
